The brand Zeppelin is new to me and appears to be gaining in popularity. The LZ 127 is an attractive watch as its military styling utilises simplicity and good looks.
It has a Japanese automatic movement, Miyota 821 A, which is seen as comparable to a decent Swiss movement.
The highly polished outer case looks and feels plastic but no other reviews seem to mention this. Maybe the stainless steel is coated with this plastic feeling stuff.
Accuracy has been good. The watch, being an automatic gives a subtle reminder of its presence by ‘jingling’ a little when you move your wrist.
Pricing was moderate and I feel it is worth the money.

First class service. The SSK is excellent and looks a lot more compact than the dimensions suggest. This model is slightly more expensive than the usual Seiko 5 but it is worth it in my opinion. Best price, free next day delivery and free returns if not to your taste. Bracelet was adjusted perfectly, also free. Ordered at 15.10 Friday and was delivered 10.45 Saturday morning.
