Watch arrived on time and I love it

Unfortunately I was sent the wrong watch initially so unable to review.

Then when I contacted First Class Watches to arrange correct delivery they explained that they’d advertised it at wrong price and I needed to pay additional £100! omnishambles!

So I cancelled order and will find a more competent dealer.

I had been trying to make my mind up about which one of the 27 different versions of the new Seiko 5 Sport watches I would pick. I knew I wanted a good reliable daily watch with a nice automatic movement. The Seikko SRPD59K1 is that watch for me. Solid build, nice movement (4R36), distinctive style. If you don't like orange there are other subtle colours and straps available. It feels very comfortable on my wrist and in the picture you can see it in it's orange glory. If it helps my wrist is about 18.5cm and I took out two links on each side of the clasp for it to fit nicely.
It comes in a good box, with instructions to set date & time and the guarantee. Being a Seiko I expect it to last a long time and with it's distinctive colour remain a talking point.

Buying something like a watch online can be a little bit of a leap, but I have been very impressed with First Class Watches. Good clear emails and status on the order and secure packaging of the watch box itself. I might have to get another one!

A great addition by Luminox, not overly expensive and really very solid and impressive, more so than the pics. Lovely build quality (the carbonox is very light but feels very hard). Nice unusual colour scheme. Excellent NATO strap, one of the best I’ve worn. Lume gets 3.5/5, unlike fully tritium lumed dials this has tubes at 12,2,4,6,8 and 10 o’clock plus hour and min hands only. The tubes are embedded which is probably good for strength and shock resistance but it does dampen the glow slightly. Accuracy so far is +0.1 secs per day which is great. Overall a definite 5/5

Great watch for the money, great looking field watch that not afraid to wear everywhere/not mind if it takes a scratch or two.

classic military looks with dial symmetry and no date window, case size perfect for small to medium wrists. Case finishing feels great

Included nylon/leather strap comfortable and in 20mm so easily changeable with drilled lugs for different looks.

Handwinding feels satisfying, given new power reserve can be left for several days and picked up again without needing to reset the time which is nice.

Only negative would be the lug gap to case could be a tiny bit shorter with thin 2 piece straps. Not an issue with padded or slightly thicker straps and NATO's.

Overall highly recommended.

Stunning watch and absolutely incredible value at this price! The whole piece is quality and has the feel of a watch that cost more money. The attention to detail on the face is exquisite and stainless steel case is really well made. The movement of the second hand is sweeping and the date complication subtle. It’s an affordable collector’s piece. Fill your boots!

What a great watch!
Owned for a week now.
I ordered this expecting to return due to being oversized (I have very un-Arnie like slender wrists) however it's definitely a keeper.
Obviously a chunky watch but it really wears much smaller than the dimensions suggest.
The steel keeper can be moved high up the band so the long strap doesn't do that flappy-end thing like some dive watch staps. I wear it on the 3rd tightest hole and no issue.
Chunky weekend watch, wears great with a T-shirt or check shirt. Definitely not a dress watch.
Great quality, supple and comfortable rubber strap. Really easy to set time as digital interface syncronises with the analogue display. Keeps Perfect time according my radio controlled G-Shock. Perfect weekender watch. 5 stars

This is such a great watch.
My wife loves it!
Brushed rose gold and steel, large size, and a choice when it comes to the dial colour.
We chose the black.. and it stands out.
The price is fantastic too.
